Just wondering how much total AP there is?
I have like 180 unused.

another question, does tier classes gain more AP per level? a thief (tier 1) receives the same amount as a dark knight (tier 4) or less? or the only diference is the stats gain naturally per leveling?

That's correct. An imbalance in AP gained would result in some classes being too overpowered. We used to have items that gave AP, but they resulted in overpowered characters and an unbalanced game.

Each race gets a different amount of stats per AP though, so for example a magic race may only gain 2 ATK for 1 AP but a melee race would gain 3 or 4 and the magic race would gain 3 or 4 MO per AP where the melee will only gain 1 or 2 because they do not use magic. So yes, a Thief gets the same amount of AP as a Dark Knight, but a Dark Knight might gain more ATK or DEF per AP depending on the race you choose.
