Izzy leaped from chair to chair in celebration of a hard, fast paced song. She screamed the lyrics loudly when suddenly she caught a figure, waving his arms out of the corner of her eye. Distracted from her next landing point, Izzy lost her balance and ended up a foolish heap on the floor.
"..."
The man screamed for a virgin mint soda, and then apologized. This simply intensified the red pigmentation of her cheeks. She stood up and composed herself, thinking of the right words to say.
"Ummm... uhh, you see... it's the first day this bar--- it's new! And umm, I didn't think anybody would walk in. I mean, why wouldn't they? But... ye---"
The next song had already began blaring. She ran quickly over to the sterio and turned it down, way down. Looking back she smiled at her first customer and then walked behind the bar. He was a man with a cane, something had happened to one of his legs. Izzy observed his maneurisms as she pulled out a glass.
"You're my first customer. Anyways, make yourself feel comfortable. Where'd you come from? And uhh... I'm Izzy."
She dropped a few ice cubes in the glass and then poured a mint soda, placing it before the man and reaching out her hand.
